Overall Performance and Usability
InMotion Hosting offers industry-standard cPanel for its managed hosting service control panel. This is accessible from directly within their customer portal, called the Account Management Panel (AMP). They also offer Softaculous for an additional $5/month, making 1-click installation of a number of tools and optimizations quick and easy.
From a performance standpoint, all of InMotion Hosting’s servers are on solid-state drives. The industry has also started to adopt SSDs as standard, but InMotion Hosting has been doing it well for a long time. They do not overclock their servers with additional customers, which we have experienced with other hosting companies, so you can rest assured you are getting the resources you are paying for.
