Filter Image Divi Module
The Filter Image Module features 15 preset filter effects and 8 custom filter options to improve and adjust existing images or to create some fun and interesting filter effects.
The predefined filters are made up of 13 recreations of popular Instagram style filters created using blend modes and overlays and 2 preset options for a cool Tilt Shift effect either in grayscale or colour.
The Manual Settings allow you to adjust the image Contrast, Brightness, Saturation, Sepia, Grayscale, Invert, Hue-Rotation and Blur.
The filter effects can instantly be applied to your images or you can choose to apply the effect only on hover.
Please Note: Some of the predefined filter effects use the CSS property ‘mix-blend-mode‘ which is not ‘animatable’. This means that the Divi Image Animations will not work with those presets so it is advised to disable the animations when using them.
You will require the Divi WordPress Theme or the Divi Builder to use this plugin.
This is an extremely lightweight plugin requiring no extra loading of .css or .js files.
Install and activate the plugin like any other WordPress Plugin.
Once installed and activated the Filter Image Module will be available along with the Divi Modules for the standard and speciality sections when you click the Insert Module(s) button in the Divi Builder.
Add the Filter Image Module to your layout.
To enable and adjust the Filter Effects click the Filter Settings Tab and then click the ‘Filter Effect‘ Toggle switch to the ‘on‘ position. Choose whether to display the effect on hover and choose a pre-defined effect or select ‘Manual Settings’ from the Filter Preset drop down.
Choosing the Manual Settings option will enable the settings for the custom filter effects.
