It’s never really been enough to simply have a website, you know that already – but how to sex it up? What will engage your audience? What won’t cost a fortune and take you eons to implement? How can you capture leads beyond the expected email address for my newsletter?

Let me introduce you to Riddle.com., an interactive platform you can use for lead generation and audience engagement.

As a quick background, my client, thriller author Ronald S.Barak, asked me to implement a quiz on his recently launched website.  I kissed a bunch of frogs before landing on Mr. Right (props to Colleen Conger for the match making). What we were running into with the free quiz generators were they were tough to use and didn’t have all of the features we wanted.  Other premium options were way outside of our budget.

I liked Riddle.com so much, and found the support team so helpful, that I asked them if they would allow me to have an interview and introduce their product to you. Mike Hawkins graciously jumped on a Zoom meeting with me and you can see the interview below.

Your creativity can run wild (for an intro price of only $9 a month) with eight different types of Riddles that can  easily be incorporated into your WordPress website.

Riddle.com | WordPress engagementRemember, with each of these you are:

  • engaging your audience
  • generating leads for your business
  • keeping visitors on your site longer (which is good for SEO)

Riddle allows you to add images, videos or even GIFs to add visual interest to each question.  You can display results per answer, immediately after completion or require the visitor to provide their email address before learning how clever they are.  We went for the option of integrating Riddle with MailChimp and set up an Automation to trigger a post quiz email.

Mike and I discuss a few of his clients and how they are using Riddle. I want to share two which we discuss in the interview:

I wanted to share Riddle with you because I think they are a super nice, personable company to work with.  They are highly engaged, their customer service was outstanding and I think their suite of quizzes can help you bring a new element of lead generation and engagement to your clients.  I am certain you will enjoy the interview.  In it we do a little demo on using the platform with my base idea of “which theme is right for you”.

Enjoy and thank you Mike!

Let me know how you are (or would) use Riddle on your sites in the comments below.
