Not long ago I was on Skype with Andrew Palmer and he reported that in the previous hour he had gotten a request for a proposal and 50 minutes later the perspective client was now a client and had paid the down payment via PayPal.

I got off Skype and sent an email to 17hats, would someone there want to talk to me about the platform?  Would they like to be interviewed so I can share with my people this magical art of automation and reining in cash?  Yes!  they agreed and we set up a call (we recorded the call and you can watch it below, we review their features and how you can use them to make your business easier to manage).

I then got myself a subscription to 17hats and I called WordPress website designer and organizational guru Laura Heuer to tell her that I was taking her up on her offer to help me get automated.  Quick background, Laura was my first friend in WordPress, I think we met in 2009, so she has been working with clients and building WordPress sites for a long time.  Laura began walking me through the process of  setting up a client on-boarding workflow automation.  I knew that investing time into this would pay off, I don’t see the upside to reinventing the wheel, I wanted  the automation’s and processes that Laura had honed over working with hundreds of clients (I blame the ET developers and Sean Barton for my addiction to export / import).
