Have you ever wanted text, a call-to-action button, or perhaps a logo that stays put over your Divi Slider? Then my Fixed Elements over Divi Slider layout might just be for you! This is ideal for a strong title, call-to-action or company logo that you want to have stay fixed over your rotating Divi slider images.

This is a 2 in 1 layout kit that comes with 2 Divi Library Layouts!

  1. Text and Button over Divi Slider
  2. Logo over Divi Slider

And the cool thing is, with this layout you can put ANYTHING in the fixed section and it’ll remain there while your Divi sliders…well…slide on by 🙂 More good news? – This is not a plugin and since it’s CSS based, it’s compatible with every version of Divi and will be moving forward without needing to update. If you’re advanced at CSS, feel free to go wild and make any CSS changes or additions you’d like!

What’s included:

  • The Divi Library import json file (Containing BOTH layouts)
  • CSS File

A few things to note:

  • A basic knowledge of CSS is recommended but not required
  • You will use CSS to change the responsive heights and margins of the layout
  • You may also want to use CSS to change the font size and settings for mobile
  • The width of the overlapping elements extends 100% of the screen so I recommend keeping the arrows turned off. But the slider count on the bottom of the slider is fine to turn on.

For any questions or feedback, contact me and I’ll get back to you! Oh and I’d love to see how you implemented this into your site(s) 🙂

I’ve installed this to use on my site and the text and button just appear below the header image. I updated to the latest version of WordPress to see if this helped but it has made no difference. Any ideas what the problem may be?

    • Josh Hall

Hey Stephen, have you put the provided CSS in your stylesheet or Divi custom CSS section? Be sure to check out the full installation/walk-thru tutorial here! https://vimeo.com/231909128

    Hi,

Do the elements always have to be in the center of the slider?

    • Josh Hall

Hi Vee! Nope, you can also left or right align the elements! I’m actually working on a project right now where the text and call to action button are left aligned. It doesn’t make any difference to the code/sizing that’s already in place 🙂 Great question – I make show some examples to help clarify that!
